About Quin
Quin is a personal finance app that runs entirely on your device. There's no sign-up and no login — just open the app and start tracking your accounts, transactions, budgets, and investments. Your financial data is stored locally and is never tied to an online account.

Where is my data stored?
All of your financial data is stored locally in a database on your device. Quin is offline-first and requires no account, so your records aren't tied to any login.
Do I need an account or to sign in?
No. Quin has no accounts and no login. Everything works the moment you open the app.
Can I back up or move my data to another device?
Quin currently keeps your data on the device where it's entered — there is no cloud sync or export yet. Your data stays as long as the app is installed; deleting the app removes it. Cross-device backup is something we're exploring for a future update.
Does Quin connect to the internet?
Core features work fully offline. Some optional features do use the internet: live exchange rates, Taiwan (TWSE) stock prices, e-invoice sync (電子發票, a premium feature in Taiwan), and subscription management. See our Privacy Policy for details.
